Tyla, a young British storyteller and producer from Northampton, is committed to sharing emotive and entertaining stories globally. His focus revolves around narrative short dramas, featuring BAFTA-nominated actors alongside emerging talent. Tyla's journey began at 19 with the production of his first short film, subsequently acquired by Channel 4. Embracing a love for creative producing, he continues to explore the world for authentic, unique yet relatable stories.
Recently, Tyla achieved a worldwide premiere for his film "Mr Apple" at Cineworld Northampton. Collaborating with BAFTA winner Peter Hoar and award-winning writer-director Ian D. Fleming, the film is already receiving critical acclaim. Beyond his role as a storyteller, Tyla is driven by a passion for breaking molds and pursuing heartfelt desires. Originating from a less privileged background in Northampton, he firmly believes that anyone, regardless of their origins, can achieve their aspirations with genuine dedication.
As a director of the Northampton Film Festival, Tyla is committed to giving back to his hometown through the medium of film and arts. Transitioning from his experience with Eleventh Hour Films, he now thrives as an independent freelance producer, collaborating with both high-profile and emerging talent nationwide.
